Baseplate/Drilled Holes Solar foundations are provided with either a baseplate or with drilled holes. Baseplates provide a location to mount solar racking systems and are used for foundation installation. Solar foundations without baseplates allow U-bolt racking systems to slide over the top of the foundations. Installation tool is then attached to the drilled holes.
Shaft Material: Steel round HSS per ASTM A500 Grade B, minimum yield 50 KSI.
