HVWETT/EVWETT

Aluminum alloy, tube to tube, expansion couplers are designed for corona free service at 345 and 500 KV levels respectively. This design provides ±2 inch expansion. Add "H" to catalog number (example: HVWETTH-40) if schedule 80 EHIPS tubing is to be used.

Material: Castings – 356-T6 aluminum alloy
Rings and Braces – 6061-T6 aluminum alloy
Mounting Hardware – aluminum alloy
Shunts – 1100-0 aluminum alloy

Refer to installation chart DC-9295 on page 87 for instructions.
