Chance supplies a coordinated system for temporary grounding procedures to help protect crews. Equipment includes grounding clamps and necessary accessories including ready-made grounding sets for substation, overhead and underground distribution. Using Chance hotstick-mounted meters, work crews can quickly verify circuits are dead. Using specialized grounding equipment, equipotential zones can be created. Then, work can proceed using Chance tools and insulated hot line tools to help get the hot-line jobs done right.
Off the actual job site, the Chance Protective Ground Set Tester can be used to check the integrity of safety grounds. It gives a simple, accurate way to help detect common problems. Often, once these problems are identified, they are easily repaired.
A retest quickly verifies the results. With the Chance Ground Set Tester, you can check your grounding equipment no matter how long you have owned it to help add to the safety of your temporary grounding practices, save equipment and retire faulty equipment.
