INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION
  1. Jaws should be pulled back to the open and locked position
  2. Attach deadend to insulator. Position for easiest installation, normally with open side toward installer.
  3. After stringing equipment is in place, measure and mark conductor section to be inside deadend jaws. The tail should be either cut or trained in order to clear attachment hardware. Make certain that the portion of the conductor that will be inside the jaw is as straight as possible.
  4. Tap jaws forward to activate spring action for initial grip on the conductor.
  5. Apply tension by releasing stringing equipment.

Fargo side opening automatic wedge deadends with spring loaded aluminum or plated aluminum jaws are currently available in sizes through 795 kemil ACSR.
