TERMINALS
Aluminum terminals
are available for welded, bolted and compression installation
practices. Bronze connectors
are offered for bolted installations. Examples: a
bolted cable to flat connector for 795 Drake ACSR is the
ACF11C (3"x3" 4-hole
NEMA pad). For a compression installation, a CCLS1152C may
be used. The
WFTF40D and AFTF40D are flexible terminals used to connect
4" aluminum bus to a 4"x4" 4-hole NEMA pad.
TEES
Use in bus structures and also
in tapping applications. Aluminum
Tees are available in both bolted and welded configurations. Bronze
Tees are available in bolted configurations. Aluminum
Tee-Taps are also available in compression configurations. Examples: Welded
aluminum A-frame (2" IPS main and two 1.5" IPS
taps at 15-degrees) might use one WTT2152014 and two WTT152014. Tee-Tapping
a 350 AAC from a 2" bus
might use a bolted ATTC207. The ORT2117 is a quick
compression Tee-Tap solution for providing a 4"x4" 4-hole
NEMA pad on a 1590 (54/19) ACSR cable run. |
