 STUD CONNECTORS
Available in aluminum and bronze. Bronze connectors
are available with tin plating by adding “TP” to
the end of the catalog number. The
HDSF family of products covers stud sizes ranging from 3/4" up
to 4” diameter studs. A versatile Stud Connector
is the DS series. These bronze Stud Connectors offer
the flexibility to connect either cable or tube and accommodate
straight or 90-degree connections. Example: DS1405012
is for 1.5x12 stud and #6 solid thru 500 MCM copper cable
or 3/8" to 1/2" copper tubing.
EHV (Extra High Voltage)
The EHV substation product offering includes bus supports,
terminals, couplers, tee-taps and corona-free end bells. Anderson
offers solutions for 345kV or 500kV substation connector

COUPLERS
Used to connect tubes-to-tubes or tubes-to-cables. When
connecting tube-to-tube, it is possible to connect similar
size tubes or do reductions (example: connect 3" aluminum
bus to 1.5" aluminum bus using a ASTT3014). Couplers
are generally configured as in-line, 90-degree or 45-degree
connections. Bolted couplers are available in aluminum
and bronze. Welded field installation couplers are
available such as the WLI902020 (90-degree 2" to 2" schedule-40
aluminum tube coupler). |
